Tulle is a net-like fabric with fine meshes that can be soft and flowing or stiff and shaping, depending on the quality. Soft tulle is suitable for delicate layers, sleeves, and details, while stiff tulle is used for volume and underskirts. Tulle is often used in evening wear, bridal looks, skirts, dresses, and as an accent, because it intriguingly captures light and movement. Due to its mesh structure, tulle is sensitive to snags and requires gentle care.

Important properties:

Lightweight, transparent, and shaping depending on quality. Brings volume without weight. Sensitive to pulled threads and snags. Mesh structure affects look and stability.

Care instructions:

Delicate cycle in a laundry bag, low temperature, and little spinning. Air dry, do not tumble dry. Ironing usually not necessary; if needed, use a very low setting with steam. Avoid friction and snags, store carefully.
