Lace is an openwork fabric with a pattern, ranging from very fine to distinctly graphic. Depending on the quality, lace can be elastic or more stable, and it can be used as an allover fabric or as an insert. Lace is often used for evening wear, bridal looks, blouses, sleeves, necklines, and details, often in combination with lining or underlayers for comfort. Due to its open structure, lace is delicate and requires gentle care.
Typical Fabric Types:
• Stretch lace
• Guipure lace
• Chantilly look depending on quality
• Lace on tulle

Transparency and pattern effect are the focus. Depending on quality, it can be very fine and delicate or firm and stable. Stretch lace offers more comfort and fit. Sensitive to snags and pulls, but offers a very high-quality look.
Care Instructions:
Gentle wash cycle in a laundry bag, low temperature and minimal spinning. Air dry, do not tumble dry. Avoid ironing as much as possible; if necessary, use only a very low setting and iron inside out. Professional cleaning is often advisable for very fine or elaborately crafted qualities.
