Muslin is a very loose fabric, often made of cotton, with a characteristic soft texture and natural crinkled look. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and feels pleasant to the touch, but can be more transparent depending on quality. Muslin drapes softly and looks especially casual, which is why it is often used for summer pieces and comfortable silhouettes. Due to its loose structure, muslin can be more delicate and requires gentle care to maintain its pleasant feel.

Delicate wash cycle, low temperature, minimal spinning. Air dry, do not tumble dry hot, to maintain the structure. Ironing is usually not necessary, but if needed, do it very gently. A laundry bag can help to reduce friction.
