Composition - Cupro
Cupro is the quality for designs that are meant to appear fluid, elegant, and modernly soft. Many designers love Cupro because the fabric looks silky, feels pleasant on the skin, and offers a calm, high-quality drape. Ideal if you are looking for an elegant alternative with a fine feel and a well-groomed surface. (More...)
Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fiber used for smooth, softly draping, and often slightly shimmering fabrics. Depending on processing, Cupro can feel silky, elegantly matte, or somewhat dry to the touch. The fiber is especially popular for blouses, dresses, skirts, linings, and modern designer qualities with a fluid silhouette.
Typical types of fabric:
• Cupro satin
• Cupro twill
• Cupro lining fabric
• Cupro blends
• Cupro with crepe look
Important properties:
Cupro is soft, flowing, and pleasant on the skin. Many qualities appear high-end thanks to their calm surface and elegant drape. The fabric is particularly suitable for modern garments with flowing movement and a well-groomed look.
Care instructions:
Cupro should be washed or cleaned gently, depending on the quality. High heat and vigorous spinning should be avoided. When ironing, use a low to medium temperature and ideally iron from the reverse side.
