Use - Sports jacket fabric
Sakkostoff stands for precision, clean lines, and a high-quality appearance. Many labels rely on these qualities because the material keeps its shape and is still comfortable to wear. From classic smooth to finely textured, many options are possible. (More...)
Suit fabrics are usually woven wool qualities or blends, often with fine patterns and a clear drape. Worsted and fresco are typical variants because they appear dimensionally stable and have a clean surface. Blends with viscose can make the handle softer, a small proportion of elastane increases comfort and reduces bagging in movement zones. Depending on the weight, there are qualities suitable for all year round as well as lighter variants for warmer months.
Typical fabric types:
• Virgin wool, worsted
• Fresco
• Wool blends
• Blends with viscose
• Wool with elastane
• Tweed, fine textures
Important properties:
Suit fabrics are dimensionally stable, crease-resistant, and have a clear drape so that lines stay precise. High-quality fabrics have good recovery and still look well-kept even after prolonged wear. Surface and pattern control the effect: smooth looks clean, textured looks more striking. Elastane blends increase mobility without the fabric losing its quality.
Care instructions:
Air out and brush instead of frequent washing to protect the surface and shape. Dry cleaning is usually the safest choice for wool qualities. When ironing, use steam and a cloth to avoid shiny marks. Treat stains locally and do not rub hard.
