Use - T-shirt fabric
The fabric of a T-shirt determines how it feels on the skin and whether a basic piece really appears high quality. Many labels deliberately choose better qualities here because you can feel the difference immediately. There are many variations, from clean and smooth to soft and flowing. (More...)
T-shirt fabrics are mostly jersey qualities, often based on cotton, viscose, modal or lyocell. Cotton jersey appears classic and clear, while viscose, modal, and lyocell tend to drape softer and feel particularly pleasant. Interlock is more compact and looks higher quality because it has more structure and can be less transparent. A small amount of elastane ensures better recovery, so that shape and neckline remain stable for longer.
Typical fabric types
• Cotton jersey
• Viscose jersey
• Modal jersey
• Lyocell jersey

Important properties:
T-shirt fabrics should be soft and comfortable on the skin while maintaining good shape. Weight influences whether the fabric feels lighter, airier or more compact; heavier jerseys often feel higher in quality. Elastane ensures better fit and less bagging. Good qualities remain colorfast and don't feel dull even after many washes.
Care instructions:
Use a gentle wash cycle and wash inside out to protect color and surface. Air drying is often better than high dryer heat, as it can alter elasticity and feel. Iron on low to medium, depending on the fiber; for very soft qualities, prefer steaming. For printed fabrics, iron only from the reverse side.
