Silk is an animal-based natural fiber and is used for smooth, flowing, glossy or even slightly matte fabrics. Depending on processing, the effect ranges from soft and delicate to more stable and structured. Silk is particularly popular for blouses, dresses, evening wear, linings, scarves and exclusive designer pieces.

Important properties:


Silk is lightweight, elegant and pleasant on the skin. Many qualities appear particularly high-quality due to their sheen, fine drape, or delicate transparency. The fiber is suitable for elegant, festive and luxurious designs with fine movement.


Care instructions:


Silk should be treated very gently. Hand washing or professional cleaning is usually the best choice depending on the quality. When ironing, use only low heat and work preferably from the inside.

Most of our fabrics are made from valuable natural fibers. In the spring/summer collections, you’ll find beautifully delicate, fine-threaded cotton fabrics, elegant linen, silk, and the finest virgin wool fabrics. Our wholesale range for the autumn/winter collections offers fabrics made from similar materials, but generally warmer, heavier, and more focused on wool fabrics. Virgin wool fabrics are often blended here with cotton, silk, angora, mohair, or cashmere. Each collection also includes fabrics made from high-quality synthetic and microfibers, often designed as functional fabrics for outdoor clothing.
